 Monday 18th Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Walk

 

 

Take steps to raise awareness! Join the Rescue Mission for a mile walk to kick off Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.
Syracuse- Clinton Square, 12:00 p.m. 
Ithaca- Ithaca Thrifty Shopper Store, 12:00 p.m.
Auburn- St. Mary’s Church, 12:00 p.m.
Binghamton- United Presbyterian Church, 12:00 p.m.

Tuesday 19th Syracuse Sleep Out for the Homeless

 

Join Alan Thornton, Rescue Mission CEO and the Rescue Mission leadership team as they spend a night outside in observance of Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week.

The Sleep Out will begin at 7 p.m. in the Mission District. Experience a night similar to the people who are homeless while raising awareness of homelessness in our community.

Wednesday 20th Housing and Homeless Coalition Event & Street Corner Campaign

 

Meeting on Syracuse City Hall steps to recognize community members who have worked to address hunger and homelessness in Syracuse. 2 p.m.

Look for Rescue Mission representatives on street corners bringing awareness to hunger and homelessness.

Thursday 21st Program Tours

 

On November 21 we invite the community to visit and tour our program locations on our main campus in Syracuse or at our regional locations: Auburn, Binghamton or Ithaca.

 Friday 22nd The Rescue Mission presents CNY Premiere of @Home documentary

@home is a documentary with one goal: to raise awareness of homelessness in America. Special appearance by Mark  Horvath, homeless advocate, creator of Invisible People and inspiration for @home.
