Shop For A Greater Good

Over 50 years ago, the Rescue Mission opened its first thrift store to both provide affordable clothing and generate income to support its programs. Today, the Rescue Mission operates 13 Thrifty Shopper stores in 7 counties, its latest eclectic thrift store, 3fifteen, on the Syracuse University campus, and 10 Mission Returns bottle and can redemption centers. These operations generate over 50 percent of the revenue needed annually to provide Rescue Mission programs and services to end hunger and homelessness.

When you patronize our businesses, you are truly ‘shopping for a greater good.’

No one should have to be hungry or homeless. It can happen for so many reasons and once there, it can be a difficult road back. You can help the Rescue Mission work to end hunger and homelessness by joining our mission.
